Our story

“Our guesthouse is one of the oldest homes in the village of Savigny-lès-Beaune.

The shared courtyard to which it is connected was, for many years, the central square of the village. There, you can still see the remains of the old bread oven and the charming narrow streets of times past.
La Parenthèse Bourguignonne is a 13th-century house typical of Burgundy, complete with its original dovecote.

The property had been left untouched by its previous owners and was mainly used as a hayloft and workshop.

When we discovered it in 2020, we decided to fully restore it while preserving its soul: the original stone walls, beams, dovecote, and even a small alcove with its authentic stonework have all been carefully maintained.

The restoration took two and a half years, and we’ve designed the space to be as comfortable as possible for our guests.

We hope it will meet your expectations and provide you with a delightful stay in our village and its vineyards.”
